Step 1:
Referral or Application
ReAbleU Therapy partners with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies, schools, and community programs. Your VR counselor, doctor, school transition team, or self-referral can connect you to our services for vocational counseling, career planning, and mental health support.
Step 2:
Eligibility
Every individual has a unique set of circumstances. ReAbleU Therapy works closely with VR to review your situation carefully and determine eligibility for services — whether you're navigating a disability, transitioning from school, or seeking to overcome employment barriers.
Step 3:
Prepare for Your Meeting
Get the most out of your meeting with your VR counselor or ReAbleU therapist. Bring medical records, school/employment history, goals, and questions. We're here to help you prepare so we can build the strongest plan together.
Step 4:
Decision
ReAbleU Therapy and your VR team review your unique circumstances carefully to determine eligibility for vocational rehabilitation services.
Step 5:
Plan
Your VR counselor (and ReAbleU therapist) will help you create your Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) — tailored to your strengths, interests, and goals for competitive, integrated employment.
Step 6:
Vendor Referral / Choosing Your Provider
Once VR determines you are eligible, your VR team will help you choose a service provider. Many clients select ReAbleU Therapy for our specialized expertise in:

ReAbleU Therapy offers comprehensive assessments, including vocational evaluations and mental health / psychological support, to give a clearer, more detailed picture of your best career path.
Step 9:
Benefits Analysis (SSI/SSDI Recipients)
If you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), we provide accurate benefits counseling and planning to help make a successful — and financially smart — transition to work.

Trainings & Courses
During your pre-employment phase, you'll gain valuable skills through our counseling, career readiness training, social skills sessions, and mental health support — setting you up for a confident and successful job search.

Job Placement and Coaching
